This is a picture of the FT-897D with the aluminum handles and antenna tuner attached. The handles are made of solid aluminum and the tuner is an MFJ tuner with a custom box.As you can see, it looks better with the satin finish paint. This time I have used acrylic paint, which smells less and dries faster.
Where can I get a set of aluminum handles.

The habdles are custom made with 8mm square aluminum bars. 73.
